Job summary

Frog Recruitment partners with a respected education institution in Canberra to recruit a Senior People Partner who will advise leaders across the employee lifecycle and shape a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

The role balances strategic partnering with hands-on support, managing complex employee relations and coaching leaders for effective people leadership. A broad range of workforce initiatives will be delivered in collaboration with HR teams.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations and case management experience.
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, workplace legislation and HR policy.

We’re partnering with a respected education institution that is seeking an experienced People Partner to join its established People & Culture team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with academic and professional leaders, providing trusted advice across a broad range of people matters while helping shape a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

As a senior member of the HR team, you'll balance strategic partnering with hands‑on operational support, managing complex employee relations matters, coaching leaders and contributing to key workforce initiatives.

The Role

• Reporting into a senior People & Culture leader, you will
• Partner with leaders to provide practical HR advice and solutions across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage complex employee relations matters including performance, conduct, grievances, complaints and workplace change.
• Support workforce planning, organisational change and capability‑building initiatives.
• Coach and influence managers to build confidence in people leadership.
• Collaborate with specialist HR teams to deliver high-quality people outcomes.
• Analyse workforce trends and provide insights to support decision-making.

About You

You are an experienced HR Business Partner or People Partner who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships and navigating complex people challenges.
