Job summary

Herron Todd White (HTW) is seeking a People Experience Advisor in Melbourne to optimise day-to-day People & Culture processes, systems and policies across the business. The role focuses on efficiency, accuracy of data, and timely responses to requests, supporting leaders and teams.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in People & Culture, knowledge of Australian employment law, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality service and timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in People & Culture or HR-related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of Australian employment law (National Employment Standards, Modern Awards).
• Ability to meet deadlines and work to SLAs.
• People-focused, collaborative, proactive problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Manage HRIS and Employee Engagement platform.
• Oversee onboarding and induction processes.
• Coordinate Employee Life Cycle activities.
• Run People & Culture cyclical processes and reporting.
• Provide policy advisory support (non-complex).

About the role:

The People Experience Advisor is accountable for completing and optimising day-to-day and cyclical People & Culture processes, systems and policies that impact every leader and team member across Herron Todd White.

Our team is operationally focused, with success measured by efficiency of systems and processes, turnaround time of requests and accuracy of data, reports and insights.

• HRIS and Employee Engagement platform management
• Onboarding and Induction
• Employee Life Cycle Process
• People and Culture Cyclical Process
• Policy Advisory (non-complex)

Who are we looking for?

• At least 2 years’ experience in People & Culture, with a solid understanding of the employee lifecycle
• Knowledge of Australian employment law, including the National Employment Standards and Modern Awards
• High attention to detail with strong document review and quality control
• A collaborative and empathetic team player who is people and solutions-focused and proactive in identifying potential issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver to service level standards
