Job summary

Americold in Brisbane is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with leaders across our warehouse operations and support teams. You’ll shape the employee experience, drive workforce planning, and champion safety, compliance and a high-performing culture.

You’ll lead ER/IR activities, build leadership capability, and collaborate with unions to deliver effective people strategies across multiple Brisbane sites. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an HR Manager/HRBP or senior HR Generalist role.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
• Strong ER/IR capability with unions.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or Business preferred.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel to Brisbane sites and work in cold environments.
• Autonomy and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operators to deliver workforce planning and people strategies.
• Lead employee relations and engage with union reps.
• Drive performance, talent development, and leadership capability.
• Champion culture and engagement to enhance employee experience.
• Ensure HR processes comply with legislation and policies.
