Job summary

Americold is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the employee experience across Brisbane operations. You will partner with warehouse leaders, drive capability and culture, and ensure HR practices support safety, compliance, and business performance.

This hands-on role focuses on people leadership, ER/IR with unions, and creating an engaged, high-performing workforce. Travel across Brisbane sites and visits to cold/chiller environments may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an HR Manager/HRBP or senior HR Generalist role.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong ER/IR capability with unions and employee reps.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or Business.
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel across Brisbane sites and work in cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver workforce planning and people strategies.
• Lead employee relations matters and build relationships with unions.
• Drive performance, talent development, and leadership capability across sites.
• Champion culture and engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience.
• Ensure HR processes comply with legislation, agreements and policies.
• Use HR data and insights to influence decisions and improve effectiveness.
