Job summary

Americold, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to shape the employee experience across our Brisbane operations. This hands-on role partners with site leaders to drive workforce planning, talent development and a high-performing culture in fast-paced environments.

You will lead employee relations, coach leaders, ensure safety and compliance, and use HR data to influence decisions across multiple Brisbane sites, including travel to sites in the

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR Manager, HRBP or senior HR Generalist.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong ER/IR capability with unions engagement.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or Business (preferred).
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
• Willingness to travel across Brisbane sites and work in cold/chiller environments.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver effective workforce planning and people strategies.
• Lead employee relations matters and build strong relationships with union representatives.
• Drive performance, talent development, and leadership capability across sites.
• Champion culture and engagement initiatives that enhance employee experience.
• Ensure HR processes comply with legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies.
• Use HR data and insights to influence decisions and improve organisational effectiveness.
