Ploomo in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on People & Culture Manager to lead ER, compliance, safety and development across APAC regions. You’ll partner with senior leaders to navigate complex employee relations and build scalable learning frameworks.

Based in Toorak, Melbourne, this office-based role requires Australian work rights and a proactive approach to HR operations, culture, and people data management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HR or People & Culture experience, including 1–2 years operating at Manager level or with equivalent ownership.
• Strong generalist HR/P&C capability with depth in employee relations.
• Confidence leading investigations, performance management, disciplinary and termination processes, and coaching managers through those conversations.
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment with ER, development, compliance and hiring support.
• Experience delivering training or capability-building initiatives with attention to compliance, safety and people data.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary processes and day-to-day manager guidance.
• Spot employee relations risks and patterns, then turn them into practical advice for senior leaders.
• Own office health and safety practices, including ergonomics, safety standards, incident reporting and follow-up.
• Keep workplace compliance on track across regions, covering safety, anti-fraud, AML, privacy and confidentiality obligations.
• Build and deliver learning and development initiatives and scalable training frameworks, coaching managers through difficult people situations.
• Support recruitment activity, talent mapping, HRIS and payroll data accuracy, employee experience work and people reporting.
