Job summary

Ploomo, a Melbourne-based fintech on a growth trajectory, seeks a People and Culture Manager to lead complex ER matters, safety, compliance and learning. You will guide senior leaders, own health and safety practices, and support recruitment and payroll data integrity across APAC regions.

Office-based role in Toorak, Melbourne with a strong culture of people-first excellence. You will drive training programs, coaching for managers in difficult conversations and ensure privacy and AML compliance

Qualifications

• Hands-on HR/People and Culture generalist with strong employee relations experience.
• Capable of leading investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Experience coaching managers through difficult people discussions and complex ER matters.
• Background delivering training and capability-building initiatives with compliance focus.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and multi-region support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, performance issues, terminations and day-to-day manager guidance.
• Spot employee relations risks and patterns, then turn them into practical advice for senior leaders.
• Own office health and safety practices, including ergonomics, safety standards, incident reporting and follow-up.
• Keep workplace compliance on track across regions, covering safety, anti-fraud, AML, privacy and confidentiality obligations.
• Build and deliver learning and development initiatives and scalable training frameworks, while coaching managers through difficult people situations.
• Support the broader PandC operation with recruitment activity, talent mapping, HRIS and payroll data accuracy, employee experience work and people reporting.
