Job summary

CareChoice is seeking a People & Capability Business Partner to work with leaders across a large frontline workforce. Hybrid role with 2 days at Mulgrave Head Office and flexible arrangements.

You’ll handle complex employee relations, workforce planning, and people projects while improving the employee experience and organisational capability. You’ll report to the Head of People and Culture and partner across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a P&C Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Hands-on employee relations experience, including investigations and grievances.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, NES and industrial instruments.
• Experience with frontline/workforce environments and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to balance employee experience with risk and compliance.
• Experience contributing to change, workforce or broader people projects.
• Practical, curious and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational and senior leaders on people priorities, workforce challenges and organisational change.
• Manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, grievances, performance and disciplinary processes.
• Coach leaders to confidently manage people matters and build their own capability.
• Contribute to workforce planning, organisational design and talent initiatives.
• Support workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work activities.
• Use workforce data to identify issues and recommend practical actions.
• Lead and contribute to people projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help create a consistent and positive employee experience across the lifecycle.
