Job summary

CareChoice is seeking a hands-on People & Capability Business Partner to work with leaders across a large frontline workforce in Australia. You will address complex employee relations matters, coach managers, and drive workforce planning and organisational change to enhance the employee experience.

You’ll report to the Head of People and Culture and help lead talent initiatives, change projects, and injury management activities while balancing commercial needs with risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a P&C Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Hands-on employee relations experience including investigations, performance and disciplinary matters.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the National Employment Standards and industrial instruments.
• Experience working with operational leaders and frontline workforces.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
• Ability to balance employee experience, commercial considerations, risk and compliance.
• Experience contributing to change, workforce or broader people projects.
• Practical, curious and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on people priorities, workforce challenges and organisational change.
• Manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Coach leaders to manage people matters and build capability.
• Contribute to workforce planning, organisational design and talent initiatives.
• Support workers compensation, injury management and return-to-work activities.
• Use workforce data to identify issues and practical actions.
• Lead people projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help create a positive employee experience across the lifecycle.
