A major local government organization in Stirling is looking for a People Capability Lead to drive leadership and development programs. Base pay range

Location: Stirling, Western Australia

Type: Maximum Term – Full Time contract to 30 August 2026

Salary: $160,000 to $170,000 base salary + super (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design and delivery of learning and development programs
• Oversee leadership development for frontline and emerging leaders
• Drive talent management, succession planning and career pathways
• Manage graduate, trainee and internship programs
• Lead diversity and inclusion strategy and initiatives
• Deliver engagement surveys and culture programs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed capability across the City
• Monitor budgets, metrics and outcomes across all programs

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a organisation development/HR leader with:

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in OD
• Strong knowledge of contemporary people practices
• Experience in leadership, learning, engagement and diversity programs
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to coach, influence and drive change across all levels
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR systems
