TDG Environmental is hiring a People & Capability Coordinator to support our ANZ operations across Queensland and New Zealand. You will help manage the employee lifecycle, support operational leaders, and contribute to people projects and workforce initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior People Operations Manager, you will build practical people solutions, maintain HRIS records, and assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employment relations.

Reporting to the Senior People Operations Manager and working closely with our People & Capability team, you'll provide proactive support across the employee lifecycle whilst contributing to employee relations, people projects, systems improvement and workforce initiatives.
You’ll become a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, helping deliver practical people solutions that support both our operational teams and business growth.
No two days are the same. You'll have exposure to a broad range of People & Capability activities and the opportunity to build your skills across multiple disciplines.
Employee Lifecycle Support - Enabling positive employee experiences from hire through to exit, supporting probation reviews, coordinating activities for key employee lifecycle milestones, preparing employment paperwork and correspondence.
Manager Support - Provide first-level support to our Operational teams, assist with policy interpretation and employment related queries, help managers navigate people processes and build capability within their teams.
Employee Relations & Compliance -Contribute to award interpretation and employment compliance activities, support performance, conduct and return-to-work processes, and assist with the preparation of employment relations documentation.
Support to Managers & Staff- Providing assistance on Enterprise and Awards Agreements, conditions of employment and ER matters.
Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement- Contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience and organisational capability, maintain accurate records in our HRIS, as well as support reporting and workforce data activities.
Recruitment Support -Assist hiring managers to deliver a positive candidate experience, and coordinate recruitment activities as required.
Ideally, you will bring:
Previous experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, People Operations or a similar role.
Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations or employment administration.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and sound judgement.
Confidence building relationships with operational leaders and frontline teams.
A proactive mindset and genuine desire to support others.
Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
A current driver's licence and willingness to occasionally travel to TDG depots across Queensland to build relationships with our operational teams and support People & Capability initiatives.
Knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation is not essential. Support and development will be provided as you grow into the role.
