Job summary

Karbon is seeking a People Business Partner to partner with engineering and product, using AI tools to surface insights and drive effective people strategies. You will lead complex employee relations, ensure award interpretation and WHS compliance, and coach leaders through organizational change.

The role is hybrid and based near Town Hall station, with three days in-office per week, offering extensive leave, global exposure, and a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an HR Advisor/People/HR Business Partner with a strong HR Generalist foundation.
• Prior SaaS or high-growth tech experience is essential.
• Working knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work, modern award interpretation, and WHS.

Responsibilities

• Partner proactively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape the people agenda.
• Use AI tools and analytics to surface insights and drive HR initiatives.
• Lead complex employment relations matters with clarity and coach leaders end-to-end.
• Guide leaders through change and workforce planning while aligning with business goals.
