Job summary

Andrews Meat Industries is seeking a People & Performance Business Partner to drive people strategy and capability across our manufacturing divisions. You will partner with operational leaders to provide strategic HR support, including workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.

Reporting to the Head of People & Performance, you will lead recruitment, engagement, and leadership development while maintaining a positive workplace culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline is preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in a HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Strong employee and industrial relations experience and award interpretation.
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing or food production environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
• Solutions-focused with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced People & Performance Business Partner to join our team and play a key role in driving people strategy, workforce capability, and organisational performance.

Reporting to the Head of People & Performance, you will partner with operational leaders to provide strategic and hands-on HR support across workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, talent acquisition, performance management, engagement, and organisational development. This role is critical in supporting business growth, building leadership capability, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people initiatives with business objectives and operational outcomes.
• Provide coaching and support on performance management, employee relations, leadership development, and workforce planning.
• Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and compliance requirements.
• Support award interpretation for key stakeholders
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for key positions and support talent development and succession planning.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
• 3+ years' experience in a HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Strong employee and industrial relations experience, including employment legislation and award interpretation.
• Experience working in a complex, fast-paced operational environment, ideally within manufacturing, food production, logistics, or a similar industry.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
