  • Lead the ER / IR Centre of Excellence to deliver sound, commercially and legally informed employment and industrial relations advice including union engagement across the enterprise.
  • Monitor the external IR landscape and proactively advise the Executive on legislative change, Fair Work obligations and emerging risks.

  • Lead Inghams’ TA function across and develop and execute a TA strategy that supports current hiring needs and builds pipeline capability for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Implement technology-enabled processes that empower hiring leaders to attract and retain the right talent efficiently, reducing friction and time-to-hire.
  • Use recruitment data and market insights to inform sourcing strategies and improve quality of hire and support workforce planning
Systems, Continuous Improvement & EVP:

  • Champion Inghams’ EVP across all touchpoints of the employee lifecycle
  • Support the evolution of the P&P operating model, driving technology adoption and process improvement in partnership with Reward and People Services.
Progress, Impact Measurement & Reporting:
  • Use metrics, analytics and data to understand, track and demonstrate the impact of People Partnering, ER / IR and Talent Acquisition initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Prepare Executive papers and Board reports for the People & Remuneration Committee.
  • Establish and report on KPIs that reflect team productivity, business outcomes and people metrics and prepare and present meaningful insights to the CPO and ELT as required
Key requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Employment Law or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in senior HR leadership roles within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise agreements, collective agreements, or similar industrial arrangements
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and working effectively with union representatives and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment and sourcing strategies including executive search, passive candidate engagement and analytics applied to recruitment ROI and talent acquisition metrics
  • Experience leading significant organisational change, transformation or workforce effectiveness programs from design through implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at or with Executive and Board level, with the credibility and gravitas to influence at the highest levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage significant budgets and link people and organisation priorities with operational and financial outcomes.

We’re looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single day and continue delivering deliciously good food that’s…Always Good!
