Job summary

WesTrac is seeking a P&C Analyst to turn people data into insights, support HR initiatives and contribute to digital solutions that improve processes and the employee experience. You’ll work across the business to gain broad People & Culture exposure and build experience toward broader roles.

Ideal candidates will combine data analytics with HR policy understanding, delivering clear reports and practical improvements.

Qualifications

  • Strong data analysis and interpretation to generate workforce insights.
  • Ability to use digital tools to create, communicate and improve information, processes and ways of working.
  • Creative and practical approach to problem solving with ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.
  • Strong reporting and communication for clear, engaging insights for different audiences.
  • Understanding of HR policies, compliance and relevant legislation.

Job description

Looking to build your career in People & Culture while developing experience across HR analytics, digital solutions and continuous improvement? As a P&C Analyst, you’ll support the delivery of people initiatives while using data, technology and problem solving to improve processes and the employee experience. Working collaboratively across the business, you’ll gain broad P&C exposure, contribute to meaningful improvement initiatives and build the capability and experience to progress into broader People & Culture roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Turn people data into meaningful insights, identifying trends and opportunities that support better workforce and business outcomes.
  • Help shape smarter ways of working, contributing to digital solutions, automation and process improvements across People & Culture.
  • Support the delivery of key P&C initiatives and services that enhance organisational effectiveness and the employee experience.
  • Solve problems and simplify complexity, analysing information, identifying root causes and contributing practical solutions.
  • Strengthen P&C processes and compliance, supporting policy updates, effective controls and continuous improvement across the function.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong digital capability and confidence with technology, with the ability to use digital tools to create, communicate and improve information, processes and ways of working.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to cleanse and analyse data, identify trends and relationships, and translate findings into meaningful workforce insights.
  • A creative and practical approach to problem solving, with the ability to explore alternatives and develop solutions to complex or unexpected challenges.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and engaging reports and insights for different audiences.
  • An understanding of HR policies, compliance and relevant legislation, ideally supported by a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business or a related field.
