Job summary

Youi Insurance is seeking an experienced People & Capability professional to guide leaders through complex employee relations and capability initiatives. You will partner with leaders to balance people and business outcomes, support investigations, and coach teams to build capability while ensuring policy compliance.

Based at our Sunshine Coast head office with hybrid work flexibility, you’ll influence the Claims portfolio and broader business, shaping risk-aware people strategies and practical

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex employee relations matters.
• Strong judgement and ability to navigate sensitive situations.
• Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of workplace relations legislation and frameworks.
• Ability to communicate risk and provide practical advice.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• HR, Employee Relations or Law qualifications advantageous.

Job description

You'll love this role if you're an experienced People & Capability professional who enjoys helping leaders navigate complex people matters and finding practical solutions that balance people and business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone confident in managing a broad range of employee relations matters and partnering with leaders to build capability, reduce risk and support high-performing teams. Supporting our Claims function, you'll become a trusted advisor, helping leaders navigate challenges and drive positive people outcomes.

No two days are the same. You could be guiding a performance matter, undertaking an investigation, coaching a leader through a difficult conversation or advising on workplace concerns. Success comes from your ability to assess situations objectively, communicate clearly and provide practical, commercially minded advice.

You'll join a collaborative People & Capability team where you'll continue to develop your expertise while making a genuine impact across the business.
