Job summary

Our client in the heavy equipment sector across Queensland and the Pacific seeks an HR data specialist to turn raw HR data into clear insights using PowerBI. You’ll pull data from Chris21, Workday and Excel, delivering monthly HR reporting and ad hoc requests within the People Services function.

This hands-on role focuses on data preparation, accuracy and reporting improvements, with a hybrid/office-based arrangement in Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Proficient in PowerBI for creating and maintaining dashboards.
• Experience with Workday and HR data sources for reporting.
• Month-end HR reporting experience and strong data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Delivering monthly HR/people reporting (overtime, leave, turnover, absenteeism).
• Maintaining and improving PowerBI reports and dashboards.
• Responding to ad hoc data and reporting requests from HR and the business.
• Pulling and reconciling data from Chris21, Workday and Excel ahead of reporting.
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across HR reporting.
• Providing BAU handover and continuity during the contract.
