Job summary

Palm Lake Care is seeking a People Advisor at our Bethania community in Queensland. You’ll work closely with leaders to address day-to-day people issues, interpret Awards, and support recruitment, onboarding and employee relations in a hands-on, community-based role.

You’ll be embedded with a People Business Partner across Talent, ER and Safety, or Performance & Engagement, contributing to a supportive, values-led workplace in the aged care sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR, ER, or people support role.
• Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and modern awards.
• Relationship-first mindset and on-site problem solving.
• Ability to handle diverse, fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-the-ground people contact for leaders and staff at the Bethania community.
• Provide practical, timely advice on employment conditions under relevant awards.
• Support your People Business Partner across recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee relations.
• Help managers navigate day-to-day people issues with confidence and consistency.
• Contribute to a modern People & Culture function investing in better data and support.
