Job summary

Palm Lake Care is seeking a People Advisor to be embedded in our Bethania community, working alongside leaders and staff to interpret Awards and provide real-time employee support. You will influence the employee experience and help shape people practices at the local site.

You’ll collaborate with the People Business Partner across Talent, Industrial Relations & Safety, or Performance & Engagement to build expertise while staying connected to frontline operations in aged care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR, ER, or people support role.
• Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and modern awards.
• On-site problem-solving mindset and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted, on-the-ground people contact for leaders and staff at our Bethania community.
• Provide practical, timely advice on employment conditions under the Aged Care Award 2010 and Nurses Award 2020.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee relations matters with the People Business Partner.
• Help managers navigate day-to-day people issues with confidence and consistency.
• Contribute to a modern People & Culture function with better data and stronger support.
