Job summary

Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Part-Time basis. Work from a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts weekly with good work-life balance. Afternoon and night shifts available, including weekends.

Assist residents with personal care, hygiene and mobility, support emotional needs, and maintain care documentation. Join a values‑driven, inclusive team delivering quality residential, respite and palliative care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent/IS
• Current National Police Check
• Caring and respectful approach toward residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Empathy for elderly residents and families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care is a plus
• Experience in Australian aged care is valued

Position Details

Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Part Time permanent basis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work-life balance.

Shifts Available

• Afternoon shifts Combinations of shifts between Monday-Friday including Weekends 2.00PM-10.00PM
• Night Duties Combinations of shifts between Monday-Friday including Weekends 10.00PM - 6.00AM

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
• Support residents’ emotional and social needs
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• A current National Police Check
• A caring and respectful approach towards residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Empathy with elderly residents and their families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
