Job summary

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group is seeking an experienced People Advisor to join our busy People Services team. You will provide expert guidance on employee relations, absence management, recruitment and wellbeing, and work with managers to deliver positive outcomes for colleagues.

You will support policy development, coaching, training, and data analysis to help improve the employee experience and wellbeing. The role offers development opportunities and a collaborative, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification or working towards.
• Experience in a professional HR/People Services environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law.
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on people policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Coach managers through employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters.
• Analyse people data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support development of people policies, guidance and wellbeing initiatives.
• Deliver and support training on people-related topics.
