Job summary

DWS is seeking a hands-on Pega Developer to join our enterprise delivery team for a major Infinity ’26 upgrade and Constellation UI migration. You will work across Pega development, UI modernization, workflows and business rules to ensure the transition to Constellation and compatibility with Infinity ’26.

Hybrid role with 3+ days onsite in Parramatta, Sydney. Start: 16 November 2026; 9 months with extension potential. Collaboration with Pega Architects, Developers and BAU teams is key.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Pega Developer delivering enterprise Pega applications.
• Strong hands-on Pega development across workflows, business rules, data models and application configuration.
• Experience with Pega Constellation UI and developing responsive interfaces using the Constellation architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive interfaces using the Pega Constellation UI framework.
• Support the Infinity ’26 upgrade, including compatibility assessment, remediation and regression testing.
• Refine functional and technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and develop customer-facing visualisation and reporting functionality.
• Develop and enhance Pega workflows, business rules and data presentation services.
• Identify and remediate components impacted by the Infinity ’26 upgrade or Constellation transition.
• Collaborate with BAU platform team on environment readiness, upgrade activities and release planning.
• Support UAT activities, defect investigation and remediation.
• Prepare and support production deployments, hypercare and operational readiness.

Job description

DWS is seeking a hands‐on Pega Developer to join an enterprise delivery team for an important Pega Infinity ’26 upgrade and transition to the Pega Constellation UI framework. The successful candidate will work across Pega development, UI modernisation, workflows and business rules, supporting the migration to Constellation and ensuring existing and new functionality is compatible with the Infinity ’26 platform. This is a delivery‑focused position suited to a Pega Developer who can collaborate with Pega Architects, Developers, Business Analysts and technical specialists through development, testing, deployment and transition into BAU.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, customer-facing interfaces using the Pega Constellation UI framework.
• Support the Pega Infinity ’26 upgrade, including compatibility assessment, remediation and regression testing.
• Refine functional and technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Configure and develop customer-facing visualisation and reporting functionality.
• Develop and enhance Pega workflows, business rules and data presentation services.
• Identify and remediate application components impacted by the Infinity ’26 upgrade or transition to Constellation.
• Work with the BAU platform team on environment readiness, upgrade activities, release planning and technical dependencies.
• Support UAT activities, including defect investigation, troubleshooting and remediation.
• Prepare and support production deployments, hypercare and operational readiness.
• Maintain source code, technical documentation, deployment procedures and operational support material.
• Provide knowledge transfer and support the formal transition of solutions into BAU.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand‑ups, showcases and retrospectives.
• Work closely with internal Pega Developers, Architects, Business Analysts and other delivery partners.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience as a Pega Developer delivering enterprise Pega applications.
• Strong hands‑on Pega development experience across workflows, business rules, data models and application configuration.
• Experience with Pega Constellation UI and developing responsive interfaces using the Constellation architecture.
• Understanding of the differences between traditional Pega UI approaches and the Constellation UI framework.
• Experience supporting Pega platform upgrades, migrations or application remediation.
• Ability to assess existing Pega applications for compatibility with newer Pega Infinity releases.
• Strong troubleshooting and defect‑resolution capability across development, UAT and production environments.
• Experience with regression testing and resolving issues arising from platform upgrades.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to work effectively alongside Pega Architects, Developers, Business Analysts and platform teams.
• Strong technical documentation and knowledge‑transfer skills.

Highly Desirable

• Direct experience upgrading or preparing applications for Pega Infinity ’26.
• Previous experience migrating or modernising existing Pega applications onto Constellation UI.
• Experience identifying compatibility issues between legacy Pega UI implementations and Constellation.
• Relevant Pega certifications, such as Certified Pega System Architect or Certified Pega Senior System Architect.

What We Are Really Looking For

The key differentiator for this role is Constellation. A candidate who is a strong general Pega Developer but has only worked with traditional Pega UI will not be as competitive as someone who has delivered using Constellation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate Pega development, Constellation UI, and Pega upgrade or migration experience. Direct Infinity ’26 exposure is highly regarded, but strong Constellation experience combined with previous Pega upgrade or modernisation experience is the priority.
