Grand Pacific Health is partnering with Hunter Primary Care to build the Tamworth Medicare Mental Health Centre. We are seeking a Peer Worker with lived mental health experience to help shape the service from the start.

This full-time fixed-term role runs until 30 June 2029 with potential extension. You’ll support crisis services, assessment, therapy and care coordination within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Cert IV qualification in Mental Health Peer Work (or commencement or willingness to work towards qualifications within the first six months of employment).
• Direct lived experience of mental health challenges and/or service use as well as periods of healing and personal recovery.
• Commitment to safely and purposely share lived experience to engender hope and support others on their personal recovery journey.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, and lead and guide staff through influence

Responsabilités

• Provide peer support across crisis, assessment, therapy and care coordination.
