Job summary

Grand Pacific Health Ltd., in partnership with Hunter Primary Care, is establishing the Tamworth/Armidale Medicare Mental Health Centre and seeks a Mental Health Clinician to help shape care from the ground up. The role is full-time and fixed-term until 30 June 2029, with potential extension.

You will perform high-quality biopsychosocial assessments, care coordination, and evidence-based psychological interventions, collaborating with families, carers and external providers to maximise outcomes

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or other relevant qualifications.
• Current registration/accreditation with relevant Australian bodies (AHPRA OTA or equivalent)
• Experience in comprehensive mental health assessments and collaborative planning with consumers and families
• Experience delivering holistic, evidence-based therapeutic services

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Provide biopsychosocial care coordination for consumers and carers.
• Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions and therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and external service providers to maximise outcomes.
