Wellways Australia is seeking a Peer Recovery Worker to support adults in the Community Living Support (CLS) program. You will draw on your lived experience to inspire hope, strengthen independence and help participants reach personal goals.

Join an integrated team delivering practical, person-led support, maintaining records and collaborating with families and partner services to enhance wellbeing and community connection.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate 4 in Mental Health, or similar, or be enrolled/working toward one.
• 100 points of identification required.
• Evidence of right to work in Australia.
• Driver's Licence.
• National Police Check.
• International Police (if required).
• Working with Children Check - Blue Card.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Modules – free online course.

Responsibilities

• Use your lived experience to engage, empower and support people on their recovery journey.
• Provide practical, strengths-based support tailored to individual goals and needs.
• Facilitate peer learning programs and promote hope, recovery and self-determination.
• Work collaboratively with participants, families, communities and partner services.
• Maintain accurate participant records, recovery plans and program documentation.
