Job summary

Kids First Children’s Services in Brookvale is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to support a paediatric caseload across a wide range of communication needs. This is a full-time role in a clinic-based setting with some opportunities for in-community work in schools and preschools.

You will work with psychologists, OTs, speech pathologists and teachers, delivering assessments and individualised intervention plans, while setting meaningful goals in partnership with families and applying a

Qualifications

• Recognition as a Speech Pathologist with paediatric focus.
• Eligibility for CPA membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience assessing and treating children with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across speech, language, feeding and swallowing.
• Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based intervention plans.
• Set meaningful goals in partnership with families.
• Write assessment reports, NDIS reports and clinical notes.
• Collaborate with teachers to support learning in the classroom.
• Trial AAC systems with families and manage shared cases.
