Job summary
NSW Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network in Randwick. The role supports both technician and advanced practice duties to enable pharmacists to focus on clinical services.
Flexible work opportunities are available, with base salary plus superannuation and leave loading. The position requires completion of PSA-recognised qualifications and experience with hospital pharmacy systems such as iPharmacy.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have relevant qualifications as per the award to enable appointment as a Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 i.e. completed a qualification in a relevant field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia
- Certificate IV qualifications may be considered for appointment as Pharmacy Technician Grade 2
Responsibilities
- Facilitate provision and development of pharmacy service to patients and clients within the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network
- Perform technician support roles and advanced practice roles to enable pharmacists to focus on clinical service provision
