Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Pharmacist Grade 2 to provide paediatric clinical pharmacy services at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network, based at Westmead. The role involves drug procurement, dispensary duties and direct pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must be a registered pharmacist with hospital experience, ideally in paediatrics, and demonstrate strong communication, accuracy and a patient‑centred approach.

Qualifications

• Full registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no restrictions on scope of practice.
• Demonstrated relevant Clinical Pharmacy experience in a busy hospital environment (preferably paediatrics).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in undertaking all tasks.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation to improve/develop skills relevant to current practice.
