Job summary

The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is seeking a Perfusionist Grade 2 for a permanent full-time role based at Westmead. The position involves supporting, preparing and operating cardiopulmonary equipment in the cardiac theatre, PICU and transplant settings, in collaboration with surgical, anaesthetic and intensive care teams.

Qualifications

• The role requires expertise in perfusion and cardiopulmonary support.
• Ability to operate and maintain extracorporeal circulatory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, treatment, measurement or supplementation of the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system.
• Operate and maintain extracorporeal circulatory equipment in theatre, PICU, radiology and transplant settings.
• Coordinate with surgical and critical care staff to ensure patient safety.
