Job summary

BYD Harmony Auto Australia is seeking Automotive Technicians / PDI Technicians for our New Vehicle PDI Centre in Sydney. Join a team working with brand-new vehicles to perform inspections, equipment fitting, and final quality checks before delivery to customers.

You will be involved in PDI, accessory fitting, and ensuring robust quality standards while collaborating with PDI, Service and Logistics teams in a Monday–Friday, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• A current Australian driver's licence.
• The right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles.
• Check vehicles for quality, defects and damage.
• Carry out basic mechanical adjustments and repairs.
• Fit accessories and vehicle protection equipment.
• Complete vehicle preparation and final quality checks.
• Use job cards and complete required documentation.
• Move vehicles around the site as required.
• Work closely with the PDI, Service and Logistics teams.
• Keep the workshop and work areas clean, safe and organised.

Automotive Technician / PDI Technician - New Vehicles

Sydney | New Vehicle PDI Centre | Immediate Start

Harmony Auto is looking for Automotive Technicians / PDI Technicians to join our busy New Vehicle PDI Centre in Sydney.

You will be working with brand-new vehicles, completing inspections, vehicle preparation, accessory fitting and quality checks before the vehicles are delivered to customers.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles
• Checking vehicles for quality, defects and damage
• Carrying out basic mechanical adjustments and repairs
• Fitting accessories and vehicle protection equipment
• Completing vehicle preparation and final quality checks
• Using job cards and completing required documentation
• Moving vehicles around the site as required
• Working closely with the PDI, Service and Logistics teams
• Keeping the workshop and work areas clean, safe and organised

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need to have worked in a PDI Centre before.
