Harmony Auto operates a New Vehicle PDI Centre in Sydney, seeking Automotive Technicians/ PDI Technicians to inspect and prepare brand-new vehicles for delivery. You will perform PDIs, quality checks and accessory fitting in a busy facility.

The role suits those with hands-on automotive skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and a collaborative approach. Relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

Formación

• Automotive trade qualifications are highly regarded.
• Experience with pre-delivery inspections (PDI) is advantageous.
• Open to experienced hands-on automotive candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles.
• Check vehicles for quality, defects and damage.
• Carry out basic mechanical adjustments and repairs.

Description

Are you an Automotive Technician or Mechanic looking for a role where you can use your mechanical skills without the pressure of a traditional repair workshop?

Harmony Auto is looking for Automotive Technicians / PDI Technicians to join our busy New Vehicle PDI Centre in Sydney.

You will be working with brand-new vehicles, completing inspections, vehicle preparation, accessory fitting and quality checks before the vehicles are delivered to customers.

What you’ll be doing

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles
• Checking vehicles for quality, defects and damage
• Carrying out basic mechanical adjustments and repairs
• Fitting accessories and vehicle protection equipment
• Completing vehicle preparation and final quality checks
• Using job cards and completing required documentation
• Moving vehicles around the site as required
• Working closely with the PDI, Service and Logistics teams
• Keeping the workshop and work areas clean, safe and organised

What we’re looking for

You don’t necessarily need to have worked in a PDI Centre before.

We’re interested in people with experience such as:

• Pre-Delivery Technician
• Accessory Fitter
• Automotive Trades Assistant with strong mechanical skills
• Light Vehicle Mechanic

You'll need:

• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• The ability to follow procedures and quality standards
• A reliable and positive approach to work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The right to work in Australia
