A Co-educational Catholic High School serving the Southern Illawarra with an enrolment of approximately 1138 students.

Location: Corpus Christi Catholic High School, Oak Flats

A permanent full time position commencing 28 January 2027. The successful applicant will be required to teach PD/H/PE. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in PD/H/PE.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

GENERAL CAPABILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).

• The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
