Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking an experienced PCR Lead to own the Planned Component Replacement program at the Carmichael Mine, coordinating from planning through to execution.

Join a site-based leadership role reporting to the Maintenance Manager, driving safety, schedule adherence, and efficient delivery of maintenance activities across planning, stores and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• You’ll be an experienced mining maintenance leader with a strong understanding of planned component replacement and the coordination of large-scale maintenance activities.
• Previous experience in a Superintendent, Supervisor or senior maintenance leadership role within mining.
• Strong planning, organisational and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end PCR project, from planning through to execution.
• Develop and coordinate PCR schedules in collaboration with the POCR Planner and Planning Superintendent.
• Coordinate component and parts staging with Storemen and the Stores Superintendent.
• Lead and coordinate the labour required to deliver planned component replacements.
• Ensure PCR activities are executed safely, efficiently and in line with planned schedules.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints and implement solutions to maintain delivery timeframes.
• Provide regular reporting on PCR progress, performance, labour, parts and key project milestones.
• Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Planning, Stores and operational teams to ensure effective project delivery.
• Provide strong leadership and accountability across the PCR function.

MacKellar is a leading mining contractor delivering large-scale mining and earthmoving services across Australia. We’re looking for an experienced PCR Lead to take ownership of our Planned Component Replacement (PCR) program at the Carmichael Mine.

Working directly with the Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead the PCR project from planning through to execution, ensuring component change-outs are delivered safely, efficiently and to schedule.

About the role

This is a site-based leadership role responsible for the overall management and execution of the PCR program. You’ll work closely with the Planning, Stores and Maintenance teams to ensure all components, labour and resources are coordinated and ready for execution.

About you

You’ll be an experienced mining maintenance leader with a strong understanding of planned component replacement and the coordination of large-scale maintenance activities.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a Superintendent, Supervisor or senior maintenance leadership role within mining.
• Strong experience coordinating planned maintenance, component replacement or similar projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate labour, parts and resources.
• Strong planning, organisational and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
