Job summary

Bentley in Brisbane seeks an experienced payroll leader to drive end-to-end Australian payroll across onshore and offshore teams. You will mentor a team of payroll professionals, streamline processes and ensure accuracy and compliance for all client engagements.

You will partner with senior management to deliver high service standards, manage competing priorities, and leverage technology to innovate payroll workflows and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience processing Australian payroll.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, KeyPay, MYOB or similar.
• Experience with workforce management systems such as Tanda, Deputy or Humanforce is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• A genuine interest in technology, process improvement and payroll innovation.
• The ability to manage competing priorities.

The Opportunity

Our client is a well respected Brisbane accounting firm. This role is based in their north Brisbane office. Working closely with senior management, you will lead a team ensuring payroll services are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Your duties will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of payroll professionals
