Job summary

Bentley Recruitment is partnering with a Brisbane accounting firm to appoint an experienced Payroll Leader. You will lead a team delivering accurate Australian payroll services, across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring high standards and strong client relationships.

You will drive process improvements, mentor staff, manage workflows and support system implementations. Experience with Xero, MYOB, KeyPay or Employment Hero is essential, with a focus on payroll accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience processing Australian payroll.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, KeyPay, MYOB or similar.
• Experience with workforce management systems such as Tanda, Deputy or Humanforce is advantageous.

Our client is a well respected Brisbane accounting firm. With offices based in the CBD and the northern suburbs, you have the option to choose the location that works best for you. Working closely with senior management, you will lead a team ensuring payroll services are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of payroll professionals

About You

You will be an experienced Australian payroll professional who is ready to take the next step in leadership, or an established payroll leader looking for a role with broader responsibility. Additionally you will have:

• 3+ years' experience processing Australian payroll
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, KeyPay, MYOB or similar
• Experience with workforce management systems such as Tanda, Deputy or Humanforce is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
