Leading a team spanning onshore and offshore payroll professionals, you will oversee the delivery of accurate, compliant payroll services for a range of Australian clients.
Leading, mentoring and developing a payroll team, including onboarding and performance management
Overseeing day-to-day payroll workflows, capacity and forward planning across multiple pay cycles
Reviewing payroll reconciliations, statutory reporting and legislative submissions
Acting as the key escalation point for complex payroll and system issues
Leading payroll system implementations, migrations and process improvement initiatives
Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payroll Specialist or Senior Payroll Officer
Previous experience leading or supervising a team (Advantageous)
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation and employment obligations
Working knowledge of Fair Work requirements, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Experience with payroll platforms such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, KeyPay or MYOB
Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
