Metcash Trading Limited is seeking a strategic Payroll Systems, Compliance & Governance Manager to lead the payroll systems, governance framework and compliance program. You will own Chris21 configuration, security, upgrades and data integrity while driving automation and continuous improvement across payroll operations.

The role collaborates with Payroll, People & Culture, Finance, IT and Time & Attendance to strengthen controls, mitigate risks and ensure accurate reporting in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ payroll management experience.
• Strong payroll compliance, governance, risk and auditing expertise.
• Knowledge of Awards, EBAs, payroll tax and relevant legislation.
• Experience with payroll and Time & Attendance systems.
• Strong analytical skills with large payroll datasets.
• Advanced Excel and payroll systems capability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
