Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support accurate fortnightly payroll processing across Residential services. The role includes maintaining records, managing leave and deductions, and ensuring legislative compliance while delivering professional payroll service to staff and managers.

Hybrid role with potential to base in Sydney or Melbourne campuses. Two years Australian payroll experience is required, with familiarity in UKG, Chris21/iChris and KRONOS as desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ Australian payroll experience
• Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge
• Experience with payroll legislation and compliance
• Ability to build stakeholder relationships and work independently or collaboratively
• Experience with Workday/UKG or similar payroll systems is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain payroll records, handle leave, deductions, and entitlements
• Prepare payroll reports and ad hoc reports
• Ensure compliance with legislation, awards and deductions
• Provide payroll support to employees and managers
• Troubleshoot payroll/time and attendance issues
• Collaborate with Payroll team and broader business for continuous improvement
