Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our collaborative payroll team. You will support approximately 400 weekly and fortnightly paid employees across multiple manufacturing sites, delivering accurate payroll services in a fast-paced environment.

You will interpret EBAs and payroll legislation, manage reconciliations, PAYG, superannuation, reporting, and respond to payroll queries. You will work across Workday, MW P, and Chris21/iChris, contributing to system transitions and

Qualifications

• Experience processing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, EBAs and/or awards.
• Experience using Chris21/iChris payroll systems.
• Experience working with payroll/time and attendance systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills for payroll data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
• Interpret EBAs and payroll legislation to ensure accurate payments.
• Manage payroll reconciliations, PAYG, superannuation and statutory reporting.
• Review payroll calculations, leave balances and payroll exceptions.
• Respond to payroll queries and provide high-level customer service.
• Produce payroll reports and analyse data using Excel.
• Support payroll audits and compliance activities.
• Collaborate across MW P, Workday, Workforce and Chris21/iChris systems.
• Assist with transitioning employees onto a single workforce platform.
