Job summary

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our People & Safety team in Pyrmont. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for Veolia Australia and New Zealand in line with VANZ policies.

The role offers flexible work arrangements (WFH 2 days/week), exposure to complex payroll processes, and career development opportunities within a collaborative culture at our national head office.

Qualifications

• 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Familiarity with payroll-related legislation and requirements.
• Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee Masterfile by updating employee information for new hires, termination, transfer, and changes in employee pay details
• Coordinate and process monthly and weekly payrolls.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures.
• Provide support to the payroll team and ensure data accuracy
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and process termination payments accurately
