This full-time role offers a competitive salary of A$110,000-A$115,000 plus super and a supportive work environment.

Exciting Career Opportunity: Payroll Specialist

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for full-function payroll delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end payroll processing
• Managing contract updates, new starters, and terminations
• Ensuring compliance with relevant tax, superannuation, and award obligations
• Providing advice to employees on pay, policy updates, and entitlements
• Performing quality control checks and supporting internal audits
• Attending legislative training and maintaining payroll compliance knowledge
• Supporting documentation, filing, and reporting functions

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical payroll expertise and a collaborative, proactive approach. You will have:

• At least 4-5 years' experience in payroll, ideally in a mid-sized or complex organisation
• Strong knowledge of Modern Awards, tax and super obligations, and payroll legislation
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll/accounting systems
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and contribute as part of a wider team
