Job summary

PM-Partners group is seeking a Payroll Subject Matter Expert to join our consulting team in Sydney. You will bring deep payroll knowledge and experience with large enterprise systems, and you will engage with clients and project teams to implement and optimize payroll solutions.

Experience with Government or complex organisations is valued, and previous consulting work is welcome but not required. This role offers an opportunity to transition into consulting while delivering significant

Are you a Payroll SME looking to move into consulting, or already working as a consultant?

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Subject Matter Expert to join our consulting team.

This role may suit someone already working in consulting, or someone who has developed deep payroll and payroll systems expertise within a Local Government, State Government, University or other complex organisation and is interested in moving into consulting.

Experience in one or more of the following systems is desirable:

• TechnologyOne (preferred)
• Dayforce
• Civica
• Employment Hero
• Aurion
• Chris21 / Frontier Software

Key Responsibilities

• Support payroll system implementation and enhancement projects
• Provide payroll functional expertise
• Assist with requirements gathering and solution design

About You

You will have strong payroll knowledge, experience with enterprise payroll systems, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Previous consulting experience is welcome but not required.
