HPX Group is seeking a Payroll & People Operations Manager to own our in‑house payroll function across the Group and lead broader People operations. You’ll work with People and Finance, ensure statutory payroll compliance, and drive process improvements in a fast‑growing professional services environment.

You will manage the Payroll Specialist, deliver day‑to‑day payroll activities, system enhancements, and project delivery while sustaining data integrity and privacy across all People data.

Formación

• Experience managing in‑house payroll across a group.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation.
• Experience with HR operations or a broader People function.
• Ability to lead projects and manage external providers.
• Data integrity and privacy awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own the end‑to‑end payroll function for the Group, ensuring accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Manage payroll processes, controls, reconciliations and reporting.
• Partner with People and Finance to reflect movements and remuneration changes.
• Manage payroll queries and maintain data confidentiality.
• Lead People operations processes across onboarding, changes and benefits.
• Oversee system improvements and automation within payroll/People tech.
