Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Transformation Project Lead to drive a major payroll and workforce management transformation across Australia and New Zealand. You will lead the end-to-end migration of an acquired business onto target-state solutions, coordinating across technology and payroll requirements.

Your role includes managing delivery, risks and milestones, and working with implementation partners to design configuration and data migration, testing and cutover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Australian and New Zealand payroll implementations or migrations.
• In-depth knowledge of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll interpretation.
• Strong understanding of ANZ payroll processes including leave, accruals, terminations and statutory requirements.
• Experience leading data migration, testing, parallel payroll, reconciliation and cutover.
• Ability to coordinate with implementation partners and manage stakeholders across ANZ.

Payroll Transformation Project Lead – ANZ
12-Month Maximum-Term Contract | Australia & New Zealand
We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Transformation Project Lead to take a key role in a major payroll and workforce management transformation across Australia and New Zealand.
This is an opportunity to lead the end-to-end migration of an acquired business from its existing payroll and workforce management platforms ontoour clientstarget-state solutions, working across both technology and the detailed payroll requirements that make a transformation successful.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the end-to-end payroll and workforce management system migration across ANZ.
• Managing project delivery, milestones, risks, dependencies and key deliverables.
• Working with implementation partners to drive configuration and solution design.
• Leading payroll and workforce management data migration, testing, reconciliation, parallel runs and cutover.
• Ensuring the new solutions accurately reflect Australian and New Zealand payroll requirements.
• Working through complex Awards, Enterprise Agreements, leave, accruals, terminations and statutory requirements.
• Supporting integration between payroll, time & attendance and finance systems.
• Coordinating stakeholders across ANZ
• Supporting the business through go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.

We’re looking for someone who has personally led or played a senior delivery role in a payroll system implementation, transformation or migration.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Proven experience delivering Australian and New Zealand payroll implementations or migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll interpretation.
• Deep understanding of ANZ payroll processes, including leave, accruals, terminations and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, testing, parallel payroll, reconciliation and cutover.
• Experience integrating payroll with time & attendance/workforce management and finance.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across complex, multi-country or multi-business environments.
• The ability to operate at both the project leadership level and the detailed payroll/system level.
