u&u Recruitment Partners in Springfield, QLD is seeking a Payroll Officer to support a large, 24/7 workforce across multiple awards. The role reports to the National Payroll Manager and focuses on accuracy, compliance and governance while continuing to improve payroll processes through automation.

You will process fortnightly and monthly payroll, manage data for new staff and adjustments, maintain records, check entitlements, resolve queries, and support the broader payroll team in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• 12+ months payroll or payroll administration experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Proficient data entry and payroll admin tasks.
• Basic understanding of payroll compliance requirements.
• Good communication and timely task management.
• Team-oriented with willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly and monthly payroll.
• Manage payroll data, new employees and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate employee records and entitlements.
• Check hours, pay rates and entitlements for accuracy.
• Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies promptly.
