Regional Express (Rex) is seeking a Payroll Officer to join the Payroll department on a full-time basis for six months. The position is based at the AAPA Campus Facility in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

You will be responsible for data entry of timesheets and leave forms, checking payroll reports for accuracy, and assisting with fortnightly pays for approximately 1,100 employees. Strong Excel skills and discretion with confidential information are essential.

Formación

• Experience with payroll systems, preferably Micropay.
• Higher School Certificate.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Enter employee timesheets and leave forms into the payroll system.
• Check payroll reports for accuracy.
• Assist in generating fortnightly pays for about 1,100 employees.
• Update data in Excel spreadsheets and maintain payroll records.
• Filing and scanning payroll documents.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Payroll Manager.

An opportunity exists for a suitable individual to join the Rex Payroll department as a Payroll Officer on a full-time basis for six (6) months. This role is based at the AAPA Campus Facility in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Position Responsibilities

• Data entry of employee timesheets and leave forms into payroll system.
• Checking Payroll Reports for accuracy.
• Assist in the generation of fortnightly pays for approx. 1100 employees.
• Updating and data entry into excel spreadsheets.
• Filing and scanning payroll records.
• Other reasonable duties as requested by the Payroll Manager.

Selection Criteria

• Computer skills in Microsoft office suite with an emphasis on excel.
• Higher School Certificate.
• Previous experience using a payroll system, preferably Micropay but not essential.

The position will suit a committed individual who has the ability to "get the job done" in tight timeframes, work as a team member and who has maturity to understand the confidentiality of employee’s information.
