Sydney Local Council is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to oversee the end-to-end payroll function in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accurate and timely payments while complying with awards, legislation, and council policies.

Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll duties, leave and entitlements management, payroll reporting, and addressing staff pay enquiries. Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management are essential.

Competenze

• Previous payroll experience, ideally within Local Government.
• Experience using TechOne.
• Ability to confidently manage payroll independently.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, and best practice.
• High level of attention to detail & problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while providing expert payroll support in accordance with relevant awards, legislation, and organisational policies.
