THE ROLE

• End-to-end processing for your own set of employees (approx 150-200 employees)
• Accurate interpretation and application of awards, EBAs and payroll legislation
• Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
• Managing payroll queries and providing excellent customer service to employees
• Processing leave, superannuation and payroll reporting
• Maintaining employee payroll records and compliance requirements
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
• Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies
• Supporting payroll-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives

THE PERSON

• Strong award interpretation experience is essential
• Experience processing payroll for blue-collar workforces
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience managing payroll in a smaller to medium-volume environment
• Process improvement mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
