LINX Port Services in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a Payroll Officer for a full-time 6-month contract to manage end-to-end payroll for staff across multiple sites using Dayforce. You will process weekly payrolls, maintain records, and resolve discrepancies in partnership with HR and Finance.
This role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, payroll tax and superannuation, and excellent communication.

Linx Port Services is looking for a motivated payroll professional who can hit the ground running in this full time 6-month contract opportunity. As a Payroll Officer you will assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll for employees across multiple sites. Working closely with HR, Finance, operational leaders, and employees, you'll help ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience through the effective use of Dayforce software.
Assist with the end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Maintain employee payroll records in Dayforce, including employee lifecycle changes such as new starters, transfers, promotions and terminations.
Review and resolve payroll exceptions, discrepancies, timesheet queries and leave transactions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, payroll tax, superannuation and company policies and procedures.
