Job summary

Voyages Tourism Australia is seeking a payroll expert to own end-to-end payroll across our multi-site operations on K’gari. You will act as the Dayforce specialist, interpreting Awards and Modern Awards, ensuring accurate, timely payroll aligned with Australian legislation.

You’ll partner with operations leaders to optimize payroll processes and controls while maintaining compliance across Kingfisher Bay Resort, K’gari Beach Resort, and related tours and marine operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Fair Work requirements.
• Experience interpreting Awards/Enterprise Agreements is a plus.
• Advanced Dayforce payroll experience and rostering insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll across a diverse, multi business and multi-site workforce, ensuring our teams are paid accurately, on time and in line with Australian payroll legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards.

But this role goes beyond payroll processing. You'll become a trusted payroll and Dayforce expert for the business, partnering with operational leaders on award interpretation, rostering and workforce compliance while identifying ways to improve systems, controls and payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities Include

About You

You're an experienced payroll professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and being the person others trust for clear and accurate payroll advice.

You'll Bring

• 5+ years' experience managing end-to-end payroll
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and Fair Work requirements
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards
• Advanced Dayforce payroll experience
• Strong payroll auditing, compliance and analytical skills

Experience supporting multi-site, hospitality, tourism, marine, transport or resort workforces will be highly regarded.
